Here is the map of our proposed trip. There are always a few changes along the way, but that will remain to be seen.
This is the northern part of the route.
And this is the Newfoundland part of the route. Along the lower part, the route goes over water. That is our ferry part of the trip. It is a 16 hour ferry. You can also see the shorter water route. That ferry is about 6 hours. That will be our off-island trip. As you can see we will be making many stops along the way in Newfoundland. There are no interior roads in the province. And until the Route 1 highway was completed, boat travel was the best means of getting from one town to another.
The Button is sitting on the rv parking lot, shiny clean and ready to run. Today we will move her to our driveway and we will have tomorrow to load-er-up.
